Ryan Reynolds' Mint Mobile Now Offers 5G Home Internet Starting at $30

Mint Mobile is expanding beyond wireless service with the launch of MINTernet, a 5G home internet option that starts at just $30 per month. The new service aims to give frustrated internet customers an affordable alternative to traditional cable and fiber providers.
According to T-Mobile, which owns Mint Mobile, the service runs on T-Mobile's 5G network and promises setup in under 15 minutes for most customers. The company says 66% of internet subscribers are ready to switch providers, mainly to find lower prices.
The pricing works like this: new customers pay $90 upfront for the first three months if they have a Mint wireless plan, which breaks down to $30 per month. Without a Mint phone plan, the intro rate is $40 per month ($120 upfront). After the promotional period ends, customers can lock in the $30 monthly rate by signing up for a 12-month plan or continue on three-month plans for $40 per month with a voice plan or $50 without one.
The service includes no monthly equipment fees and comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Customers get a plug-and-play wireless gateway that connects to T-Mobile's 5G network. However, there's a catch: after using 1TB of data in a month, speeds may slow down during times of network congestion. The equipment stays on loan and must be returned if you cancel.
MINTernet is available now in areas where T-Mobile's 5G network reaches. Mint Mobile continues its direct-to-consumer approach by selling the service online at mintmobile.com, cutting out middlemen to keep prices low.
