Walmart Family Mobile’s New Plans Start at $19.88

If your phone bill has been putting a dent in your budget lately, you’re not alone—and Walmart Family Mobile is stepping up with a fix. The prepaid wireless brand just launched its most affordable plans yet, aimed at helping families stay connected without overspending.
The new lineup includes a $19.88 monthly plan with 4GB of data, plus a beefed-up $24.88 plan that now includes 8GB of data (up from 5GB). For heavier data users, there's also a $34.88 option with 20GB of high-speed data.
But that’s not all—Walmart is also lowering the cost of adding lines. Now, each extra line will cost just $19.88 a month, making it much easier for families to manage multiple phones without blowing the budget.
In addition to cheaper plans, Walmart Family Mobile is offering a new feature called “Family Mobile Peace of Mind.” It’s a special plan designed for tough times: just $1 a month gets you unlimited talk and incoming texts for up to six months. It’s a simple way to make sure people can still reach you, even if money’s tight.
The company is also continuing its support of the Lifeline program, a government initiative that helps low-income households get discounted phone service. Qualifying customers can get plans for as low as $5.88/month in California and $9.88/month in other states. Walmart Family Mobile is working with organizations like United Way and Goodwill to help families enroll.
Bottom line: If you’re looking to save money on your phone plan without sacrificing coverage, Walmart Family Mobile’s new options are worth a look.
