The Samsung Rugby 4 comes as the successor to the rugged Rugby III. It comes anew with added features to make the device a lot more functional than its older generations. With the Rugby 4, Samsung adds Wi-Fi data and Push-To-Talk connectivity for private networks. Despite these new additions, the Rugby 4 retains the same trademark features of the previous iteration—a rugged clamshell design with IP67 certification for dustproof and water resistance. As well as a M3/T3 rating for Hearing Aid compatibility. As a flip phone, the device comes with a couple of screens—the main screen is a 2.4-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels; a secondary external display is available with a 1.3-inch screen. The Rugby 4 also comes with a 3MP front-facing camera with a 15fps video recorder. Powering the device from within is an Intel XMM6230 chip with 1GB of RAM and an internal memory of 256MB. There is a microSD card slot that can expand the memory of the device by up to 32GB. Available with a removable Li-Ion 1300mAh battery, the Rugby 4 can last up to 14 hours of talk time on a full charge.
