LG’s newest budget-friendly smartphone has just been released and it’s called the LG Tribute 2. Coming as a successor to the LG Tribute, this new model improves on some aspects of the previous device. For starters, the Tribute 2 now comes with a better display thanks to its 4.5-inch IPS display with 854x480 resolution. There’s also the inclusion of a removable Li-Ion 1900mAh battery that powers the device for up to 16 hours of talk time. Powering the device is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The internal memory is 8GB, expandable by up to 32GB through a microSD card. The phone also comes with a 5MP rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera with the Gesture Shot feature, a new addition to the Tribute 2 which enables hands-free selfie capture. Other key features added onto the phone include QuickMemo+, Knock Code unlock, and adjustable keyboard height. The phone runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
