T-Mobile Makes Important Changes to Port-in Credit Offer

As they all say, the only thing permanent in this world is change. And for T-Mobile customers, a new change has started to take effect last Thursday, August 17th.
Sadly, the Un-carrier has reduced the number of times users can get a credit rebate for porting in from a competitor. Prior to the change, users had the ability to redeem a rebate credit for up to five users per account. But this has been reduced to just two.
The credit rebate gives users porting in from a different number $200 for every postpaid number. The previous offer gave users up to $1,000 when they use the cap of five users per account. But now that this has been changed, users can only get up to $400 for two users per account.
In addition to this, the port-in offer is only limited to the Go5G Plus plan. This means if you will be porting to a different T-Mobile plan, you will not be eligible for the rebate credit.
This change is now in effect.
