Verizon has once again expanded its 5G network.

Earlier today, Big Red unveiled its latest 5G coverage launch. The company revealed that it has launched its 5G network in Los Angeles, CA. Unfortunately, the wireless network did not yet release a coverage map for this new location. But it promised to release the coverage map on December 20th.

As reported by PhoneDog, these are the places in the city where Verizon’s 5G coverage can be experienced:

  • Chinatown

  • Del Ray

  • Parts of Downton

  • Venice (Grand Park, LA Live, Los Angeles Convention Center, Staples Center, Union Station, and Venice Beach Boardwalk)

If you want to experience what Verizon’s 5G network is like, you will need to have a 5G-capable device and Verizon’s unlimited plans with 5G access. As of this writing, the available devices include:

  • LG V50 ThinQ

  • Motorola Moto Z4 (with 5G Moto Mod)

  • Samsung Galaxy S10 5G

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G

Verizon’s unlimited plans now include 5G at no extra charge. Its Start Unlimited plan, on the other hand, requires an extra $10 per month add-on for access to 5G.

With Los Angeles as the latest city to get 5G network coverage from Verizon, the carrier has now launched the network in 19 cities. It still has 11 more cities to launch to meet its goal of 30 cities by the end of the year.
