The BLU S1 is a 4G LTE smartphone with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 720x1280 resolution and 282ppi. The phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor with 2GB of RAM. There is an internal storage of 16GB with a microSD card slot for up to 64GB memory expansion. The device has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording. Another camera is available in front with a 5-megapixel camera. It also includes a non-removable 2,800mAh battery that helps the phone last up to 16 hours of talk time and 22 days in standby. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS upon release. Available colors include Black and Gold.
