Twitter Launches Kiddie Version Of Vine

Twitter originally launched Vine, the popular short video sharing service, a couple of years ago. Now, the social media company is releasing a kid-friendly version of the popular app, aptly called Vine Kids.

 

Vine Kids is specifically targeted at children of ages 5 to 12 years old. The aim is to have a version of Vine that contains kid-centric video content such as animated videos, educational clips, and even footage from popular kiddie programs like Sesame Street.

 

The 4 Major Wireless Carriers Are Bringing LTE To The Subways Of Chicago

The subways of Chicago will having be having 4G LTE services soon. All four major wireless carriers in the United States -- AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless -- are working together to roll out a $32.5 million LTE upgrade to the Chicago subways. That will include 22 miles of subway tunnels under the Windy City.

Microsoft Launches Outlook for Both Android And iOS Mobile Devices

You can now have Outlook on your mobile device even if it runs on the Android or iOS platform. Microsoft has confirmed that it is launching its email app to Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, based on the application it got after its acquisition of Acompli last month. 

 

Previously, Microsoft offered different Outlook-branded products for different platforms. There's the Outlook.com app for the Android system, and then there's the OWA apps for both Android and iOs (but available only to those under paid Office 365 subscriptions).

Twitter has also rolled out its mobile video capture capability, letting users shoot videos and share them directly from their Twitter mobile apps. On top of that, Twitter has also editing capabilities, which means that people will be able to polish their videos before sharing them to the Twittersphere.

 

Samsung To Produce 3/4 Of The Processors For Apple’s Next iPhone Models

Samsung and Apple may be fierce competitors in the phone making business, but they do have a working relationship. Indeed, it appears that Samsung, who is a producer of all types of consumer electronics, will build 75 percent of the processors that will be used by Apple, especially for its next line of iPhones. Well, at least according to a South Korean news report.
