Virgin Mobile, a prepaid subsidiary of major US wireless carrier Sprint, is transforming into a mobile operator that sells only smartphone devices made by Apple. To mark the start of its new identity, the company is introducing a new limited time special offer that gives customers one whole year of unlimited voice calls, text messaging, and data for only $1.

Four years from now, shipments of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) headsets across the globe will increase to almost 100 million units, at least according to projections made by IDC. In a recent report released by the market research firm, worldwide shipments of AR and VR headsets will grow from the 10 million units recorded last year to a tenth of a billion units by the year 2021.

Spotify continues to make itself heard. According to a blog article written and posted by Brian Benedik, the head of sales at Spotify, no less than 140 million users are listening the music streaming service on a monthly basis. About a year ago, the company had revealed that it had reached 100 million listeners every month, which means that over the last twelve months or so, Spotify has comfortably grown its listener base each month by a cool 40 million more.
