Americans Spend 10 Hours Every Year in Shopping Apps

According to the latest report recently released by App Annie, mobile users based in the United States spend 10 hours every year (or close to 50 minutes on a monthly basis) in shopping apps. Naturally, as more and more people own smartphone devices, mobile shopping is sure to grow too, with digital first apps like Amazon and Etsy making it easy for consumers to buy stuff online.

Twitter is offering a new feature and it is called Happening Now. What the feature does basically is highlight numerous tweets revolving a specific trending topic, with emphasis on sports primarily, as well as on other news related to entertainment, and other current events. Google’s Acquisition of Relay Media Will Boost its AMP Project

Google’s AMP Project (Accelerated Mobile Pages Project) should get a boost with the tech giant’s recent acquisition of Relay Media, a company that has created the AMP Converter technology that helps in making web pages AMP friendly. It is possible that under the acquisition deal, Relay Media will be closed down, with its technology transitioned to Google’s platform.

Just in time for Halloween, Apple is debuting hundreds of additional emoji that should land on iPhone and iPad tablet devices soon. According to the tech giant, some of the new emoji consist of new food pictogram representations, as well as fresh ones for mythical creatures and monsters (cutified, of course), and smiley faces that are more emotive. This latest batch of emoji is coming to Apple mobile devices by way of the upcoming roll out of iOS 11.1.
