About Samsung Galaxy Note 8

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has big shoes to fill. As the successor to the biggest mistake Samsung ever made (the Galaxy Note 7), the Galaxy Note 8 comes with big expectations from a market it failed. And ensuring that the mistake does not happen again, Samsung has equipped this year’s Note model with the freshest specs. To start with, the Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED curved Infinity Display with a resolution of 3840x2160. Powering the phone from within is a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip with 6GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage, and microSD card slot for up to 256GB memory expansion. There is a 12-megapixel dual camera configuration on the back of the device with another 12-megapixel sensor, OIS, and Autofocus. The rear camera can record 4K video quality. Meanwhile, a secondary camera is available in front with 8-megapixel sensor. Battery-wise, the phone has a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging support. New on this year’s model is an improved iris scanner and Samsung’s built-in Bixby AI assistant. Upon release, the phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS. It comes with an S Pen, IP68 certification, and a screen embedded fingerprint scanner. Colors available include Black and Gold.
