About Samsung Galaxy S7 edge

Samsung announced its two latest flagship smartphones at the MWC 2016 held in Barcelona-- the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. The S7 edge runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow device and comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED curved edge display with a 1440x2560 resolution and 534ppi index. The Galaxy S7 edge will be available in the US with a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 SOC chip while an international model will be available with an Octa-Core Exynos 8890 SOC chip; both of which will be paired with 4GB of RAM, ARM Mali-T880MP14 GPU, and an internal storage of 32GB. The microSD card slot supports up to 200GB memory expansion. The Galaxy S7 edge is home to a 12MP rear-facing camera with 4K UHD video capture and a 5MP front-facing sensor. From within its frame, the device has a non-removable Li-Ion 3,600 mAh battery with Fast Wireless Charging support. The device is available in Black, White, Gold, and Silver color options. Upon release, it will run the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Other notable features include Samsung Pay support, an IP68 water-resistance rating, and an “Always On” display feature.
