Verizon Wireless is one of the two largest wireless carriers in the United States, with about 70 million customers across all 50 states. Verizon's strategy has been around call and network reliability, as opposed to having the lowest price. This effort is working, as Verizon has one of the lowest rates of customers leaving it for another carrier. Verizon offers a wide range of rate plans including voice only and voice bundles with messaging and/or data. Verizon Inpulse prepaid service offers a numer of no-contract options, while BroadbandAccess provides subscribers near-broadband (in most areas) speed wireless data services.
