The devices below will enable you to access the web in most locations where the carrier has service, enabling you to be online wirelessly wherever and whenever you want. There are basically two types of devices for the laptop, ones that fit into USB slots and ones that fit into card slots. They do the same thing, so it is just a matter of what ports are available on your laptop. While the preceding devices attach to your existing laptop, Netbooks (also in the list below) are stand-alone laptops with built-in wireless data capability.
