AT&T Launches Data Deal That Offers 15 Gigabytes For The Price Of 10 Gigabytes

ATT Launches Data Deal That Offers 15 Gigabytes For The Price Of 10 Gigabytes

Starting Tuesday, November 18th, AT&T is offering its Mobile Share Value subscribers 15 gigabytes of shareable data for the price of 10 gigabytes. For those not in the know, that is equivalent to $100 each month for the plan charge plus device access fees.

What exactly can you do with 15 gigabytes of shareable data? Via its newsroom page, AT&T gives you an idea:

  • Stream 30 hours worth of videos
  • Listen to 160 hours worth of music streaming
  • Surf the Internet for 300 hours
  • Post 1,000 times (with pictures) on various social media websites
  • Send and receive 10,000 email messages
  • Download 100 apps to your mobile devices

This latest data deal from AT&T is open to all existing and new AT&T subscribers, whether they are business or consumer customers. As expected of any data deal from the carrier, it already includes unlimited calls (domestic), unlimited text messaging, and use of one of the most reliable 4G LTE networks in the United States.

Those who want to avail of this offer can do so either by visiting AT&T's official website, or if they are current AT&T subscribers, selecting the new data deal using the myAT&T app.

Subscribers of AT&T can also get unlimited international text, picture and video messaging on all Mobile Share Value plans for no extra charge. To be clear, unlimited international messaging refers to text messages sent from the US, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, to over 190 countries, as well as picture and video messages sent from the US, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands to 120 countries.

As for device access fees, they will amount to $40 each month for two-year agreements, or $15 for those under AT&T Next plans or those who bought their devices at full price. Also, don't forget that tablets come with a $10 monthly access fee.

This latest promo from AT&T comes after the carrier doubled its $130 a month, 15 gigabytes tier to 30 gigabytes last month, along with the rest of the other tiers. It is a good move for the carrier, considering that other major competitors like Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless are also introducing (or about to) their own holiday promos.

It should be noted that this new data deal from AT&T is only for a limited time only. So if you want to enjoy an extra 5 gigabytes of data every month on your AT&T plan, now would be a good time to sign up.
