About Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 (5.5")

At the Mobile World Congress 2015, Alcatel announced their latest smartphone model, the Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3. The phone comes in a couple of different size options: a 4.7-inch screen and a 5.5-inch screen. While both share similarities, they differ in a few aspects. As the larger Idol 3 option, the 5.5-inch screen of the device is equipped with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor complete with 2GB of RAM, Adreno 405 GPU and an internal storage of 16GB. With its microSD card slot, users can expand the memory by up to 128GB. The phone also comes with a 13MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Its 2910 mAh battery helps it last throughout the day without emptying itself quickly. Upon unboxing, the phone runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. There is a dual SIM version available for users to easily make use of the device. New for this model, Alcatel has added a couple of front-facing speakers for users to enjoy watching videos and listening to music on their device.
