Recently, Verizon Wireless held its Thursday Investor Day event where it talked about the future of the company. One of the things discussed in the event is the upcoming platform that Big Red will be working on together with Netflix, Disney Plus, Peloton, and many other streaming services.

This week, Big Red quietly changed its monthly installment policy on its plans. Instead of having the option to choose from 24 or 30 monthly installments, customers can make 36 monthly payments on their new device purchases.

Considering that T-Mobile’s European counterpart was among those who blocked the feature, many decided to check with the US carrier.
For this year, Verizon expressed its plans to expand its 5G network. The company talked about those plans in an earlier live event on YouTube where they also hinted at updating their 5G plans.
Unfortunately, Verizon did not talk about how its high-speed mobile hotspot allotment will be affected by these plans.
It’s official! Verizon has obtained the green light to acquire TracFone Wireless. This report comes after Big Red got the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to approve the acquisition.
Verizon and AT&T have recently decided to delay its 5G network rollout as requested by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Instead of rolling out its C-band frequencies on December 5th, the two wireless carriers have postponed the rollout to at least January 5th.
