Improved Reception
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) now requires the five largest wireless carriers to offer phones that are hearing aid-compatible. The rules are being phased in, but in the end, by February 18, 2008, all wireless carriers must ensure that 50% of their models are hearing aid compatible. A listing of current model phones that meet the M3 or M4 standard for hearing aid compatibility, as per the carrier websites, are listed below.
