How to Interpret the Results
MyRatePlan is an unbiased aggregator of information to help consumers do detailed research online to locate the best cell phone and plan for their individual needs. It is not a retailer. Therefore, this list represents a good snapshot of which cell phones consumers find the most compelling values for the money as they do their shopping comparisons.
The rankings and click share reflect the number of times users exit the specific phone page on MyRatePlan site to enter the shopping cart area (for that phone) of one of the online retailers that partner with MyRatePlan to do fulfillment. So, for example, the DROID ERIS by HTC was the most popular phone this week, and received 10.0% of all phone-specific clicks off MyRatePlan.
This data is based on significantly greater than 30,000 clicks each week and includes a current universe of approximately 140 different handsets sold online on behalf of the five national carriers and several regional providers.
